Washington residents who qualify for assistance programs can obtain free monthly wireless service and a smartphone through the federal Lifeline program. This program is available across the Evergreen State.

Washington Eligibility

To qualify for Lifeline in Washington, you must:

  • Participate in SNAP, Medicaid, SSI, or other qualifying programs
  • OR have household income at or below 135% FPL
  • Be a Washington resident
  • Only one Lifeline per household
