Lifeline in Utah

Utah residents who meet Lifeline guidelines can receive a monthly discount on phone service. Many participating providers in Utah also offer a free smartphone to eligible participants. Enhanced Lifeline is also available on Tribal lands in Utah.

Utah Eligibility

To qualify for Lifeline in Utah, you must:

  • Participate in SNAP, Medicaid, SSI, or other qualifying programs
  • OR have household income at or below 135% FPL
  • Be a Utah resident
  • Only one Lifeline per household
